All you need is 1 J-Log, make sure that your SD cards aren't class 4.

Kmart sells a 2G card that works very well for about $10.

You really don't need more than 1 card. You just use the software to change the motor parameters on the card before inserting into the jlog. Having 2 cards you wouldn't have to do this.

you know the HCSD type cards... you talked about this type of card somewhere when we were discussing having to upgrade the ROM or something like that but I think you were worried that the hardware would be an issue. I might be off here so correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think it matters about the size as long as it's not High Capacity card like the ones for some cell phones and digital cameras. I have found that most 2GB or 1GB cards don't fall into this category but when you go to 4GB and higher that is where you find the HC cards. I have an extra 1GB I could send you and with the logger writing in .txt files it should log plenty of files.

The higher the class marking, the higher the speed.

Only..
- Specs mostly lie.
- Some rather fast cards do a significantly long break sometimes. Shizophrene cards.

Everything in the logger (all parallel processes) is interrupt-driven. Nevertheless, if the SD card itself holds on too long, it comes at least to deviations in the mAh.

The file system is FAT16, so the capacity must be no greater than 2GB.
