I have tried both Total-G and Beast X and was not able to get either to fly as well as the flybarred R90se. I am staying flybarred.

I think a lot of it has to do with your preferences in flying and how long you've been flying. It's pretty tough to switch if you've been flying forever since you will likely know all the intricacies fo setting up and flying FB. Also, setup is 90% of the way it flies, so if you're not good at manipulating the FBL unit or knowing how to tune it, you likely can't out-do the good 'ol FB.

On the other hand, if you have a great handle on how the units work and can tune it up right, FBL will make any heli come alive! It took me a loooong time to start warming up to it, and admittedly, I absolutely DESPISED fbl, but now I'm starting to like it a lot and I can definitely see the benefits of switching on an R90 (or any Raptor for that matter).
