I'm gonna try one on a RKH swash and see if it'll fit, as soon as I receive my order from MH. If it doesn't work, I'll just order a v1 swash for it.....

Edit: I guess I'm being redundant here.....

Just as an aside, I have an xtreme swashplate, and now also a MH swash.

Both seemed "gritty" when I first bought them, and I actually sent the xtreme one back to the shop when I first got it because of the rather exreme binding and grittyness.

Well, after 40+ flights with the xtreme swash, it's still quite gritty and the nylon ball has worn so much that the heli vibrates horribly when it's installed.

However, with the MH swash... after the only two flights the bearings are smooth as a stock swash, but much tighter. I popped out the alu center ball and replaced it with a steel one from a stock swash to prevent wear as well.

I have to say that the MH swashes seem to be a fair bit better than the xtreme ones.

just a thought.

I will agree with that had one xtreme swash, and it was total garbage, will never use xtreme head parts again

Well the conversion went well, really easy to remove and install AR pin, when you put the sleeve over the pin you need to pinch it on with a pair of pliers, I also put locktite where the sleeve slides over, now to convert my other two swash plates

The metal boom clamp is nice, but from the looks of it MH has yet to fix their weak rear CF tail frames. I don't know about you guys, but whenever I get a tail strike, the first point of failure is the top of the rear CF brackets, right were they connect to the top bearing block. I'm even using Dylan's tail boom struts (which have helped tremendously and have not broken once), but didn't they didn't completely fix the problem.

MH really needs to use thicker CF and/or drill the holes away from the edges of their rear tail CF frame mounts. I'd imagine using a metal boom clamp will only make this point of failure more pronounced.

Has anyone used Dylan's rear frames mount sets? Are they an improvement?

Here's my conversion on my brushed v2. FOr now, I just used part of a grip link ca'd to the swash for an AR pin, but I have a couple of MH pin and balls coming. I took this outside yesterday (between rainstorms) and flew a couple of lipos through it, and the improvement was immediately noticeable. No more rolling to the left during flips or tight rolls. I did have to clip a bit of the bracket off to keep my grips from hitting, as I have a shortened shaft on the heli. Here's a pic of my v2 and my X framed bl heli.

This should make a huge difference in my skill progression. I spent a lot of time fighting my mCPX's and thinking I was at fault, until I started reading about the swash issues and decided to do these mods. Flying these modded helis is like a breath of fresh air....

I have Dylans rear frame pieces on two of my helis, they are way thicker than the MH, use the rakon tailboom holder with Dylans pieces
