spikeanoid Registered Users Join Date: Oct 2012	Phoenix stuttering for first few minutes of flight + black screens? Does anyone else get stuttering drops for the first few minutes of flying in Phoenix 5.0? I'll also get full black screens that last for maybe 0.5 - 1 second long. After a while, stuttering will go away but black screen flashes generally stay. I'm running max settings at full screen on crossfire R9 290X with an i5 6600k @1440p so surely it can't be a lack of power. I've disabled crossfire for Phoenix hoping that would help but no dice. While its stuttering, I'll maintain a consistent 60 fps so it's not a framerate drop. It's almost like Phoenix is filling up a buffer/caching for the first few minutes... Unrelated, but are you supposed to be able to land on the blades on helis? I know you can "cut the grass" in real life if you're careful, but I can full on land on the blades in the sim - is this a bug or a feature? __________________ Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.
