Unhappy Sensitivity after upgrade

Hello all,

Today I installed the CNC aluminum rotor head, CNC aluminum blade grips, plastic main blades, carbon fiber vertical fin, and plastic tail blade from Rak On Heli.

The first thing I noticed when lifting off was the TX felt like it was in a super low rate (lower than typical low rate..). I landed and it seemed the blades were too tight, regardless of how loose the screws were. I put my stock main blades back onto it, and now the low rate feeling is gone but every other control is very sensitive.. My guess is because of the aluminum head weight?

Could it be I need a skid with more weight to counter the aluminum head?

I'm curious if others performed this upgrade, and what your flight characteristics were like afterwards?

Thanks!

the sensitivity is caused by the stiffer parts. the nano stock has a slightly spongy feel vs it with a metal swash+grips....ect once you get used to it you will like it better

Thanks, and you are right, it just took a little getting used to. I enjoy it much better now.

Time for some more upgrades

My humble advice would be to upgrade when you break only.

Other than a metal swash and some good o-rings, the Nano is pretty resilient almost stock. When you start adding metal, you add weight...which means momentum, and more potential for damage.

Just sayin' what others have said.

This is my chosen route, I only upgraded the swash without breaking it.
