Default ZYX-S2- Gyro settings

Hi,

As I understand, good gyro settings to start with is + - 20% from the neutral point. If you see my attached pictures I've set it to +70 for HH and -20 for Rate mode (not following the +- 20% rule but it turns my lights red and blue) here (in ZYX-S2 software) it seems like 0 is the middle point should I set it to -20 and +20?
are my thought even make any sense or maybe I understand it all wrong?

Thanks for any advice

Yes I think 0 is the middle point but that corresponds to 50 in the transmitter. (I have total gain for tail set to 100 in the ZYX)
I found that when trying to set up rate mode, the farther I went toward the left (lower than 50 in transmitter), I got more wag, like the gain was increasing even though it was in rate mode (blue led on). The only way I could get it to not wag was was to set it closer to 50 in the transmitter, and the monitor showed closer to the middle.
So I am confused, I dont know if I have rate mode setup correctly, but I dont use it anyway.
I wound up with 54 for HH and 45 for Rate in the transmitter. and that gives me 10 and -12 in the monitor.

I also see strange numbers in the software , what you gave me is a good start though, I'll have to fine tune it in the field when I'll be ready for the Maiden flight.
Thanks a lot
