I don't know if it matters to you or not, but with the pitch/tilt motor on the left side the camera lens won't be on the roll axis.
It's not 100% on the roll axis with the motor on the right, but it's much closer. I might check it out how yours is setup now that I think of it, that way I gain my usb plug back.

Been away for a bit.
Mine did that too. these motors are very weak and need the gopro on the platform for balance then they will work fine.

Finally got the unit. Came as you see it except for the top part with the rubber isolators I need to install.
It came with no instructions so I need to find the software to dial it in with. I'll be contacting Z_man soon.
When I plugged it in to a 3s battery the bottom camera platform held level fine. The roll kept advancing and reset over and over.
Yeah, it needs to be balanced and it's not without a camera. I have a alexmos preset for the gopro that came with something I downloaded probably the alexmos software. That works great with that gimbal. If there isn't one in your alexmos folder google it and it should turn up, but honestly tuning those things is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

The gimbal I bought on ebay seems to work right out of the box just fine. Did a gopro vid and with all the roll and tilt I threw at it the video looked fine. Now to see if the propwash will effect it or not.
