Default Align T-REX700E PRO DFC HV Super Combo question

Guys,
I'm buying the Align T-REX700E PRO DFC HV Super Combo, do I need to replace anything? Cause I heard the BEC that comes with the package is rubbish

I was also wondering why do I need BEC while I'm using HV sevos?

How about the bearings do I need to replace them as well?

Bearings are fine. Kit is pretty good. Might want to invest in tail blades lighter than 6 grams such as rail blades. Not all kits are affected but some kits have a bad tail hum with heavier blades. Closer to 5 grams the better. Just use a 2s lipo to power up the servo's. If you do not want to use a 2s lipo then get a quality BEC like this...

If your super combo is a true HV kit then it shouldn't come with a BEC, I have the 700 Pro DFC HV super combo and there was no BEC in my kit nor is there one in the ESC.

A ddj74 said, run the RX and servos straight from a 2s lipo.

I use that BEC (Gryphon) in both my heilis. Regulation Type is "Switching" so it never works hard and never gets hot. Voltage limit is 75 volts so you can wire it straight into ESC (see pic). note; The extra two smaller wires from the ESC are Telemetry.

Originally I ran 2s lipo but like BEC way better.

No, you don't need to connect the AR9020 and 3GX together. All you need to do is connect the two satellite receivers to the 3GX.

no with spektrum radios all you use is 2 satellites with the 3gx. "DSMX satellites" at that.

BUT if you want to use a standard receiver then follow this video...

3GX Version 3 - Connecting a Standard Receiver. Binding and Testing Fail Safe (3 min 20 sec)
