MA Furion 450 build videos
450s seem less popular now - many have realised they're not the easiest to setup and fly - however those that are released have to compete with the enormously popular TREX 450 - Beam E4 is a high quality 450 and recently MA have released their offering the Furion. Like the Beam extensive usage is made of CF and high quality CNC components - first impressions show a high quality kit that goes together as it should
Found a Youtube promotion video which gives some good info and shots ! FIrst off "What's In the Box" and should get "Frame Assembly" up tonight ! Enjoying the build. I was dead set on a Rave as my second 450 size heli, now I can't decide.

The Furion is a ballistic heli on 3600-3700 HS but if you are going to run these high HS you will have to buy the hardened main shaft.

With the way I fly, I really don't need a 3D machine has crazy as this. It's the construction of it that has me so intrigued.

My only suggestion on the Furion is to use red loctite on the following
- Between the pulley and the BB inside the pulley, if the pulley slides of it will pull the belt down with it and trust me that wont end well - On the two BB on the arm between the tail pitch slider and the grips, they pop out too easy with blue loctite. P.S. On early Furion kits you can pull the sticker of the boom and it says bandit

My Furion 450 kit came with a second main shaft which was the hardened one for high RPM ops. No additional purchase required. This is good since the kit will drain your bank account all by itself.

espirit has the best part prices on the Furion, typically they are 30% cheaper than Tower or RH.

Posted two tail vids - on boom and rotor. Mostly straightforward - interference fits of some components and fine work Loctiting a bit of a PIA but end results worthwhile - simply the finest bit of tail engineering I've seen - all metal tail rotor with Chinese weight mods already built in ! Next up rotor head !

Up go installing servos using 9257 on the tail and 3156 on the cyclic and swash assembly - all straightforward and link geometry looks excellent
