More than likely he wants to use the Head of a Outrage 90 on a Trex 700.

Your going to have to wait until the Outrage 90 hits the street, none of the Sponsored or Factory pilots are flying Trex machines and right now the Outrage pilots are the only ones with the 90's and FBL heads

Thatīs the general idea iīm toying with. Just trying to figure out if i can improve the tuneability of the T-Rex using of the shelf parts. I believe Outrage has offered complete bolt on head combos for other helicopters in the 450 and 50 size which naturally makes me curious if such plans has been considered for the 90 size. Designing the 90 velocity headblock/mainshaft in such a way that it would accept the T-Rex mainshaft should open up an additional market for Outrage. The 90 velocity head looks greeat at a glance :-)

What options are ther for a starter shaft being you need a oneway bearing on the starter. I know the Align starter has the oneway built in. I have a couple maverik starters that I would like to use if I can avoid buying another starter.

Nah the 90 has a one way bearing in the clutch same as the 50, but MUCH larger. The one way looks like is the same as the one way bearing used on the mainshaft of the 550 and 50.

3. Yes aside from 2mm American made CF it will have a 1.5mm doubler in the first post you can see the doubler in picture

4. Yes this entire heli is a prototype all parts seen in this build are subject to change

5. To put this easy there is no one-way bearing in clutch start shaft is direct to engine.

Question 5 is what I was refering to. My kit is in the mail so yall is all I have to go by.

That was a prototype design, the finished product that is shipping has a OWB in the clutch as Capi mentioned.

The manual on Outrage RC is actually pretty dated, and has a few entertaining mistakes
