Flymentor

I just got a flymentor and tried to install it on three different heliocopters and I get the same result, The servos start going in all directions and jittering and the programmer won't come up and if it does it locks up.I have three different receivers and they all get the same result. The sipping box it camein had a smashed corner but nothing was broke inside that I could see. Having problems communicating with Hobby King, any suggestions.I'm new to heis but have been flying airplanes for 20 years.

Hmm odd the only think I can think is to try powering up the flymentor without servos attached and with the flymentor programmer attached then do a factory reset and see what happens.

If the programmer still locks up try connecting it to your computer and use the flymentor software to reset the flymentor.

is the gyro for the flymentor or the camera mounted on the helicopter of just sitting loose? as any movement on either of those could cause the servos to move.

When you switch on what colour LED is showing, it should be flashing green if all is connected. What size heli and what amperage is your BEC (internal or external) rated at? if the BEC rating is too low eg less than 5A for 450 size or 10A for 600 size heli than the voltage supplied can drop too low sending FM into similar as you describe..
