Full power or headspeed on Reflex
Is it me or this is just how reflex is. I have been trying to adjust the headspeed(increase), I also tried increasing the power of the motor, decreased the weight, decrease the size of the blades. But i am just not getting the instantaneous response that I need from my heli models. I have tried the most powerful Raptor 90 that is available on the net, i tried adjusting that, but i just can't seem to get it. I tried the all sorts of trexes. and still not good enough. I can just barely do some of my moves, but they are just sooo slow. I'm trying to do tic tocs and clocktower and the helicopter is just not that powerful. Even with some crack moves, like the crack roll or crack rainbow, has anyone been able to do this on Reflex? On a faster scale. I just want to know it is possible. If you can do these moves on Reflex could you please upload a short recording of them, as proof that it can be done on Reflex. I got the Realflight G4.5 and I have no problems there on doing my moves on that simulator mind you this is on the latest Trex 450 Pro. But that shouldn't matter right?? It's all in the adjustments right? So if you can do these moves, please record them and enlighten me. I have tried nearly every model out there, but it's still not fast enough or powerful. I have increased the motor speed the headspeed to unbelievable amounts, but no effect. I even adjust the weight. So recordings please. If reflex can't do it, then I would just go back to either realflight or the real thing.
Happy Flying! Thank you Paul |

Great question... I have not been able to get the SIM to respond to my throttle curves properly either. I gave up trying and just let the helis in governor mode. Hopefully some one with more SIM knowlege will let us know. I'm sure it is possible, just a matter of how.

I hope so too. Some crack movements on this Reflex sim would rock.

Hi Reflex fans,
Just giving everyone a running update on my progress, I am getting the moves. Finally after dedicating one whole day on playing around with the settings, I am finally coming close to the Alan Szabo Jr. T700N. But I am using AJK's model T600 with the red canopy. Damn she looks soo good. However I am having issues trying to get the engine sound to have the cracking noise, when i perform the crack movements, like the real thing. I just don't know how I would be able to achieve that. I'll make a recording of my movements soon. Hopefully someone here might know how to create crack movements sounds and somehow integrate it with Reflex. Happy Flying! Thank you Paul |
