hi Berkley, just wanted to know what size TECHFLEX you used because it makes the build look so much more professional and clean, thanks

I had a clone once, a Flasher 500, i changed the whole tail unit from boom to tail assembly to align. Flies very very well, till i lost it in a thick bush. Spend 5 days with friends looking for it. The evening rain make it even harder to find. RIP flasher 500, you re nt forgotten...
Anyway, i m flying a T-rex 500 ESP now, its wonderful!

Update:

The Tarot is still flying great, 50+ flights for now.
However, the original plastic tail setup from the Tarot 500 is rubbish. Way to much slop, I couldn't get the tail wag under control. I mentioned this to the shop century-rc where I bought the heli & they offered me another after market tail setup for a good price.
However, I wanted to stay 100% with Tarot (someone has to test it :-)). So I ordered & installed the metal tail upgrade (already some months ago) also from Tarot (AC-RC shop as newtek007 stated before).

Well, these new parts "pitch slider" & "Tail rotor holder" are a very nice piece of work. They fit perfectly, no slop at all. Tail wagging is totally gone & together with the Spartan gyro it's a rock solid tail now!

Attached some pictures from the tail. (never mind the grass dirt on the tail)

In the mean time I had the chance to do a side by side comparison with a Trex 500 at the club. It looks completely identical, only the tail boom brace ends on the tail boom braces from the Tarot were metal while on the Trex ESP they were from plastic :o. For the rest, they were extreme lookalikes apart from the belt vs torque tube of course.

Regards.

During my 500 shopping, i had to choose between a Tarot or a Flasher. I selected the Flasher. I still miss it, cos i think that heli was "scratched" build.. electronics, motor came from all over the place. Eventhough i had it for less than a year, it was a great heli to fly. I have to agree, that not all clone are bad. Recently i just got myself a Flasher 250, for the first few days i was cursing myself for the purchase as some parts are just plain small. But once i maiden the heli, i felt good. I own 2 trex a 500 and an old SE V1. the 2 are wonderful heli, but the flasher 250 is just plain fun.
