Apart from an indigenous American small axe, or a type of missile, I'm lost.

Are you talking maneuver or aircraft? (in flight school I assume maneuver). Where did you find it referred to?

I'm betting on the long range, all-weather, subsonic cruise missile.

A tomahawk is an aileron tic toc with a tail wag mixed in. Check out this video, Jamie explains it - [ame]http://youtu.be/gi95EWfUc00[/ame]

I call a tomahawk a tic wobble. Also called the Swizzle stick (the tail looks like you are stirring a drink). Jamie describes it as a wagging tic (either aileron or elevator tic). He was the first person that I saw to do one back in 2010. He likes to do them in combination with piro wobbles at the end of his routines with some up tempo dance music.

I am working on these currently in the sim.

At first I tried doing a wagging tic, but couldn't get it.

The breakdown for me is
1) nose up tight snakes ( a move I picked up from Kyle Stacy's 2010 XFC routine)
2) then just travel less and less until they are stationary.

They are much harder than say a piro wobble due to the knife edge.

To assume you were the first person to do just about anything is most likely incorrect.

Maybe you have never SEEN anyone else doing it, but that doesn't mean it wasn't being done before you ever picked up a transmitter. I'm sure that move was being done shortly after flybarless tech hit the streets.
