The guys looking at hotels.... what about going to a nearby Wal Mart and pick up a 1-2 man tent for $30.00 and stay on-site with the rest of us? When you leave... toss it out! The weather is very comfortable that time of the year too.

Or donate it to the club upon departure.

Things are shaping up nicely. The club is proving to be very easy to work with and this makes the event that much better.

A question for all of those that are planning on coming.....

Do you want a T-shirt?

We are in the process of setting up a pre-registration page that will allow you to guarantee that you get an event shirt that is your size. When that is up and running we will let you all know.

A "beginners" area if you will....

If attendance numbers warrant it we can also put three or four west facing flight stations along the road down to those pads. We have done this in the past for large events. Of course this decision would be left to Scott and the other event directors. If you are sure you are coming, pre-register. This will help us scale the event better.

Thank you for the info Steve, sound like a great way to get a few more flight stations in if we need them. You guys at the Palomar Club are GREAT to work with and extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you.

Things are progressing along nicely.

May have to tweak things here and there but we are on track for a fantastic fun fly.

There is still some work to do and we'll get it done.

Big thanks to Scott Dedic and the Palomar club for being so gracious and helpful, also a big thanks to the club members that are going to work this event.

Gonna try to make it to this! Crazy, I just met Tim Jones a few weeks ago at Tammies Hobbies, never knew the guy, and that helicopter was sitting on the bench in the shop and I had no idea that it was something special! LoL
