NOW I REALLY need with my CX2 !!

Since the last crash caused the 4 in1 receiver to catch fire and burn up, I have been looking for a replacement part. After talking with Horizon Hobby I found out that it is going to take 2 different parts to fix the heli. One receiver and one esc with gain and gyro adjustments for a cost of over $90.00. The SR is still on the bench, the cx2 was the only other heli that I had that would fly. Any ideas on what other receivers would work or what to do with the cx2 ?

I have a cx2 and today I bougth a nano it was 100 bucks. If I was put in your place knowing what I have learned after 8 flights with the nano cpx I would buy a nano ever time. That being said I do only have 8 batteries through it and will have to wait and see how durable it is.

If it were me I would look for a used Heli on e bay. Probably cheaper than the parts and you would have other spare parts. Don

Just rebuilt my CX2 with mostly eBay parts and don't seem to be having any issues. I found a 3-in-1 unit for $25 that had been taken out of a new CX2 that was parted out. It came in bubble wrap, but it looked new. I did end up buying a new Spektrum AR610 receiver for it from a local hobby shop. Good luck with finding parts. They are out there but it could take some searching.
