Default What size main/tail blades you guys runnin on your G4s?

Hey guys, planning on building the G4.1 with the OS 105. What size main/tail blades y'all running? I'm pretty well set on Vblades, but not sure between 695 or 715mm. I fly sport and a lot of 3D. Thanks for the advice.

I use rail 116 tail blades (115+) is a must with the low gear ratio for a solid tail.

And I use rail 716s as I feel this heli flies better with 710+

Good to know 716 mains and 116 tails fit, it must be close to blade strike?

I am also building a G4.1, was going to run Edge 713 SE's and wasn't sure what tails to run, but I guess Edge 115 SE's will work fine.
I also have rail 716 and 116's sitting around to try too.

No chance of blade strike.
Awesome blades for aerobatic autos, seems to hold a lot energy

Room to spare :-)

Use Botos main blades and Botos 106's for the tail. Work fantastic.

Strongly suggest 116s or u will have tail blow outs.

Rail 716s and 116s just seem to work with this heli. U can't go wrong

Nice...I decided to go with Vblades 715mm and Rail 116 tail blades. I'll let y'all know how it goes! Whenever I can get the kit in! Haha

We have run:

Radixx 710 with 105 tails
Vblades 715 with 105
Helix 695 with 105

All have worked well with the nitro motor. Our favorite combo is the Helix. Can not wait till Nick gets the 715 version done. I feel that the G4/e720 flies better with the longer main blades. Never had much issue with tail blow outs on the nitro, but we are only running a os 91 hz and not the OS 105. 116 tails are a must when in electric mode.

I'm using 716s and 116s with a os 105

I was getting tail blow outs with anything less than 115

Edge 713 SE
Edge 115 SE

Couldn't be happier with this combo, I'm yet to blow the tail out, not that I have tried to.

Cyclone 695
Radix 105

I've tried many blades and the cyclones are amazing.

Just ordered Rail 116s for mine. Fitted, not flown yet though. Using Align 690Ds, could be tempted to get some Rail 716s thought, but man they're not cheap!

I found rails to be 'soft' compared to the Edge SE's, they lasted one flight before I went back to Edges.

I have also dropped down to 105 tails, I was getting a vibe resonance in the tail on overspeeds, lighter tails blades fixed it - more of a band aid, but I didn't loose any tail performance.
I am yet to blow the tail out on the nitro - not that I have tried.

I run 690 Radix stickbangers and NHP 110mm.
Really like the light short blades on the nitro. Diskloading is nice and gives me more power from my OS 105.

I may try some 690s at some point, although I'm very pleased with the 715s
