László Csaba and me (Mike Engel) have been working on a new water Photofield: Playa Tortuga. Cancún, México.

- Beautiful resort, photo taken standing in the sea.
- Distances etc. have been measured with Google Earth Pro.
- Multiple starting/landing points (press CTRL+P)
- Includes file "PlayaTortugaCancun.wav" which is silent. You can replace it with your own ambient sound if you like, keep file name.
(Note: PhoenixRC v4.0k has the ambient sound disabled. Will get enabled in the next update)

Mike,
I have three great ships just waiting to fly, every once in a while I will crank up Phoenix to keep the motor skills up... but it's just not happening right now. My interest in long range shooting is keeping me busy for now... but great work like yours and some of the new crew makes me think a bit more about it.

Ok who knows what the future will bring..........perhaps I'll trade this creating stuff for sniping one day too. Always a hobby I was interested in, but never took the steps to actual join a club.

- Nice field with high Mountains. Slope soaring can be done here too.
- Distances etc. have been measured with Google Earth Pro.
- Multiple starting/landing points (press CTRL+P)
- Includes file "Bever_sound.wav" which is silent. You can replace it with your own ambient sound if you like, keep file name.
(Note: PhoenixRC v4.0k has the ambient sound disabled. Will get enabled in the next update)

Regarding the ambient sounds, I just got 4.0.l today and the ambient sounds are still not being played. This is using the Pipis site. I've checked and the file is where is should be, just as it was a couple of updates back when ambient sounds worked. Is there anywhere that a guy can post feedback to the people doing the maintenance?

I have also noticed that a shadow has shown up of the windsock (which seemed to have shown up all on it's own after 4.0.k) but the shadow moves as the view changes, as if the sun were being moved. Hard to explain, but pretty obviously wrong.
