did you get the warning from the ESC ...my set at 2600RPM and already had the minimum over head ( 2% )

I did, but just put 25volts in the voltage instead of choosing 6 cells.

So basically, you have no governor at all, since the pack will not be at 25V ever under load, even if there is a little overhead left, it will all be gone pretty soon into the flight as the pack voltage drops into the ~3.8V loaded range. You might as well be in fixed endpoints at 100%.

Your not wrong, but i'm not either. Castle's governer is a bit conservative, so their values are not "real" values. Don't forget the stretch version is rated at 2700rpm, if you run 100% throttle and you make a dive or a move that makes your headspeed rise too high you could have a blade ejection, so the governer helps you with that. And also I tried just using 100% throttle and makes alot of difference. I do this from experience, since I also did it with my 450 and had great results so I gave it a shot again, and just works for me. This is just my point of view, regarding my flying and me being confortable with it.

did you check the Data ? is the HS stay around 2700RPM all the way ??
I just finish setup the BeastX ...( upgrade to Low Head FBL + Stretch ) Parameter left at Default .I plan to test flight tomorrow ..very impress of your flying ..can you post your Parameter setting ..

Yeah I always check my data and record every flight. The HS will stay around 2700 throught the flight, but also that depends on your lipo's. I use Voltz 35C and they are great, so if you have a C rating above, will decay less towards the end. On my CC I have governer gain at 25, initial spool up at 8, speed change at 20, timing 5, PWM 12Khz. BeastX, first and third pot are stock and second is one point up, because I like it more responsive, but that is really your preference.

I"ll try your setting ,,but since this is the first time step into FBL world ..and I am trying to tune the Heli , I'll stay at 2600Rpm , My batt..are Voltz 35C too but only 2650Mah ( from my stock FB because upgrade ) .
about the BeastX Parameter ..can you post the rest ( are every steps at Default except Second Pot ??) ,,I tried a quick flight today and found out that I didn't feel connect to the heli .. I'll crank up Pot 2 next time ..

2600 is fine, but you can tam it down a lil bit just to have a feel for it, i personally run 2300 on normal mode when i want to fly smoother. I also have one voltz 2650, just make sure you mount it as foward as you can to have proper Cg, since flybarless is very sensitive to that. On my beastx i have control beavior set to transmitter, pitching up and tail to medium, stick deadband set to 1, tail precomp off, cyclic response high and pitch boost off. On my transmitter i have both aileron and elevator set to 5% expo and tail to 15%. Travel adjust is 115 to ail and elev and 100 to tail.
