Here's a very nice write-up by Ben Minor on setting up eCCPM on the 14MZ: http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=11836 Note: the above post used to be sticky, but cleared it to minimize the amount of sticky posts on this section of the forums. |

Programming with CSM Gyro's
If using the 14MZ with the R5014DPS G3 Reciever and a CSM Gyro that has the ability to switch from Normal to Head Lock(ICG400 in this case) it will not work or enter setup mode if the standard plug positions are used ie Gyro Gain - CH3. You have to use CH10, 11 or 12 This is acheived by pulling up the Linkages Screen and selecting Function. Then assign either CH10,11 or 12 to Gyro. The Gyro Gain and Mode change will then work as expected I have only confirmed this on an ICG400 This only applies if using the 14MZ with the R5014DPS G3 Reciever, all other recivers 1024PCM and PPM are as standard - Gyro Gain plugs into CH3 Also the mode selection is reversed with CSM Gyro's AVCS = Gyro Normal NOR = Gyro Head Lock/Smartlock

Reverse the channel on which you control the gyro, so it will function like other gyro's.
