Had a great flying weekend! Here's a phone picture of two of my helis in my office at work. Put in the first 6 flights on my TDR this weekend; fantastic!! I'm going to enjoy this one!
I had an Insane Canopy done (see a previous post) but I'm really liking the stock one. Very simple, elegant, and visible. Much lighter, also. The Insane is on the shelf for now.

The original canopies are the signature for this heli.
In my opinion it's what suits this heli and one can have more than one according to the visibility on that particular day. The rest bling which spoils the character of the heli.Respect! |

I agree, I have put 5 flmights on my TDR and got it tweaked were I like it and it is an incredible heli, so quiete, graceful and powerful... Can't wait to bolt some 710 on...
Also agree on the canopy, I love the stock one (black with silver window and red comet), I have been toying with the idea of getting an aftermarket but the stock one is perfect, visible, flexible, light, nice finish How's the Wren powered Bergen? Powerful anough for some 3D moves?

I'm sure there's plenty of power in the Bergen 44---:
But you will still feel the weight. I'm assuming it weighs over 7 kg. tanked up, I see Bergen claims 13,5 lb (about 6,1 kg)... My G weighs in at 6,5 kg rtf, and you really feel the extra 1-1,5 kg compared to any 90 size nitro or e-heli. Flick th-hold and it drops like a rock. FAI bades recommended for auto's. I really like the 44.Turbines are the ultimate in cool, and of course a 2-stage is the only viable option imo. Looking good, btw. ![]() +1 on the original TDR canopy.

I'm no Curtis Youngblood (so far from it) but here's my Magnum in high winds. I'll try to get someone to help me film the TDR soon.
