Has anyone built the 50 size 222 or Airwolf around Century Swift mechanics? I'm wondering how much fabrication is necessary to mount them in the fuselage.

The fuselage is much the same size in as the 50 sized Century Jet Ranger fuselage.
There is a fellow in the scale helicopter forum in in RCGroups that has a built thread going on the 50 sized Jet Ranger using Swift mechanics using the longer boom & belt from the Swift Carbon 620SE. So I would think that with similar mods it would work with the B222 also. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1339843 You will also notice that there is a thread in that same scale helicopter forum of a fellow mounting his Swift into the 30 size Jet Ranger. Hope this helps answer your question.

Thanks for the link, that's very helpful. I ordered the Airwolf tonight - I'm gonna stretch to 600mm and go flybarless, test fly that, then start on the scale installation.
