The reason of the many request I have started the gears productions.
They will be avaible on next week Wednesday ( 19T, 20T and 94T ). I also make 20T pinions and the carbon parts like ESC holder and fins. From 14th September I will be able to receive money via Paypal. Istvan

Kövi,
I like the idea of the derlin bushing in the washout block... Did you make any other changes to it like distance/angle from main shaft, etc? Bob

Yes, I used Derlin as bushings.
It protects the main shaft surface and eliminates the gap between the main shaft and the slide block. It is 12mm high so it also helps to fits perfectly. The factory one is only 7mm high and internal diameter is 8.03mm when main shaft is only 7.93mm. The geometry is same as the original one. There is no modification. The only modification what I did in the rotor head is the new hole in the mixing arm.

Kövi how far apart did you drill the new holes on the mixing arm? How much did you have to adjust the links also?

The new hole is 2,5mm far from the original.
I moved the ball into the inner hole on the balde holder. I aslo lenghtened ( by 1 full turn ) the link between the blade holder and the mixing arm.

Hi Les,
I have got your PM and a PM was sent to you. Today I was able to test fully the new head setup. The feeling was much better than before. I used the stock paddles and blades at this test. Lepton was as stable as with the stock setup but it was much more responsive. A roll and nick rate was twice faster than the original. Now I can fly hard 3D from 2600rpm and I don't need to move to 3000. At 2200-2300rpm it is an ideal trainer heli. Quiet and really friendly....

Hello,
Has anybody successfully sent some money to Kovi via paypal? Paypal is telling me that Hungary is still not authorized to receive money via paypal. Only to send money. Did you have the same problem? Nicolas |
