no problem. when you spool up remember that you should keep the heli at zero pitch for the full 12 sec it takes to spool up then you will hear the rpm stabilize and then you go fly. if this is done in a hover your governed head speed will be lower than expected.

Good to hear you got it solved. It had to be programming

At mode4, can i use linear throtle curve 0-100 to get heli in air.
Then switch to 1/2 60-65 with no problems ?

You have to use flat curves in order to have the headspeed governed.
You can use variable curves but then there's no governor offcourse..

Another question: if i adjust my endpoints, do i have to redo programming? I've programmed it with endpoints at 100 but would now like to adjust my endpoints.

These are my curves now

N: 0-25-50-75-100
Idle1 60-60-60-60-60
Idle2 65-65-65-65-65

I dont want to strip gears when changing N > IDLE1
How safe is the linear curve?

If you want to be sure, try to adjust your normal curve to where you're close to 60% when hovering. This way it won't make a big jump going from normal to idle1. Or do like i did: make your normal curve 0-60-60-60-60. This way you can still take off and land with the throttle stick if you like. But adjust your normal pitch curve so you don't go full negative collective when you chop the throttle.
Going from 60 to 65 shouldn't strip gears imo.

No, don't use that normal curve for spool up. You will first of all confuse the slow start and then the governor. The way to do it is to set TC as a straight across value of say 50% ( not below that for mode4). Plug in batteries with TH on, after initialization and heli ready for take off, move collective to zero pitch, switch out of TH, wait for heli to spool up, it will give a slight kick or audible rpm stabilization when governor is engaged, then just take off normally and fly.

Don't worry about stripping gears when changing flight modes, the ESC will changed to the new headspeed at a rate of about 3 seconds for ramp up.

Do not adjust endpoints AFTER programming, it was an idea earlier to try and get TC values to be the same across different radios for comparison purposes. Always program with TC of 0-100% and endpoints at 100%. The HeliJive in fact needs the bottom endpoint to be at the zero value in order for you to program auto bail out if you wish to do that.
