what are you guys finding to be the best method of printing this? Is there a better paper? I'm probably just going to go to a local kinkos or printing shop and have a few made.

Hi,
Thanks so much to everyone who contributed to this cool canopy offering... I love it! I just started on making one for my Ultra Mini MCPx out of plain print paper to get a feel for the correct size I needed. I also had to change the aspect ratio a little to proportion it to fit my little guy but it turned out pretty good for a first shot. Now that I've got the fit right, I can start making some higher quality photo prints. |

Having more trouble. How come when I open this in Papkura it prints blurry? Even when it gets pulled up in the split window it looks blurry. Is there some other setting in the program I need to change to get it to print clearly?

Ahhh just figured it out. You have to save it as "target" not save as picture. Prints super clear now.

Has any one tried using transparency paper? I was thinking this would be a little stronger then photo paper. I was also thinking about using photo paper but laminating it. Any one try this yet?

TNT I think you should grab some lime KBDD to go with your scheme. Just seems like a nice fit to me.
Tommy, I haven't laminated mine. What I have done is made mine out of cardstock and brush on fiberglass reason. It makes it a nice stiff plastic. I'm going to try painting some. The cardstock doesn't produce colors as nice as photo paper, and the resin gives everything a bit of a amber hue, so painting is necessary, but it really is a nice stiff canopy. |

Mounds, Thats cool. I picked up some transparency's today. I printed 2 out already and they look really nice. I'm gonna fine tune the design a little and print a few more. I like the transparency b/c u can have clean windows if u want.
