Gentlemen
Looking for some imput from the engine experts. I'm considering getting into the gasser world. I've been reading a lot about engines trying to develop a good understanding before I dive in.... Pardon if my questions sound strange. 1) Lets asuume I have an engine that is well broken in...Let's say I turn low speed needle from my optimal setting to lean side. What will the motor RPM do? From what I understand it will first increase and then will start to drop ???. If this is correct, why is that? Where is that initial RPM increase coming from? 2) If I turn the low speed needle in the "rich" side direction, the RPM will start dropping. Is that correct? 3) Why does the lean engine run hot? It would seem to me less amount of fuel would simply shut it down... ??? Thank you rclogger |
