It's actually not a trick. You're not supposed to be watching the camera, you need to be watching the countertop. The deflection between the counter and the bottom of the screen will tell you how well it's holding. It's a perfectly valid test!

Not true. Look at the edge of the mirror, the horizontal lines, and it's pretty clear that it is stable. Try taking your camera handheld into a mirror, move it around a bit and see what you get. I guarantee you won't get that.

The thing about the mirror video is you can get almost the same results with well setup regular gyros. It's when you introduced the complex dynamics of flight that the regular gyros don't do as well. That's why a flight test is really needed to show us what this unit can do. Also I really want to see the gimbal tilted down to see how the axis interaction behaves, which is the other big problem with regular gyros.
We need someone with a good 3 axis mount to really put this to the test. |

I talked to George recently. I think his inbox is up to 700+. I know he is swamped. Everybody wants a Picloc or info about it and it's hard to keep up. He is doing the best he can to answer emails as he can get to them. I think we all need to be patient, and the wait will be worth it.

Anyone in the US get theirs yet? He sent a notice that mine was shipped on Dec. 12 but still no sign of it. He sent it non-trackable. Just curious if others have gotten theirs and when they were postmarked.
