Lightbulb Skookum SK540, SK720 videos / walk throughs, start here!

Assume everyone has seen these now? Outstanding work Skookum!

Initial

Swash / Cyclic

Swash Levelling High, Zero, Low, Collective.

Advanced Tuning for 3D Pilots:
Once you have flown a few flights and are familiar with using the setup
software, you can do some more advanced tuning to further improve your
helicopter’s performance during piros and fast collective changes.
1) If you haven’t already done so, change your setup software interface to
Advanced or 3D Tuning. Do this by selecting one of these two options
from the Preferences menu.
2) The helicopter’s centre of gravity should be directly under the main
shaft. Check by putting the blades at right angles to the fuselage and pick
the helicopter up with your fingers under the blade-grips. The helicopter
should hang with the main shaft straight up and down.
3) Ensure that the swash motion is even throughout its range.
• Put the SK720 into setup mode and set collective pitch to zero. The
swash should be level. Adjust the individual servo centers or the
linkages as required.
• Set the collective pitch to maximum positive. The swash should still
be level. If not, adjust the servo travels for one or two of the swash
servos on the Swash Servos tab in the SK720’s setup software.
• Do the same for max negative pitch, using servo travels for the other
direction.

Blade Pitch & Phasing Adjustments

Tail

Note, its common in setup mode for the tail servo to "kick" periodically, this is all perfectly normal and of no concern.

Default FLYBAR

Can the Skookum SK720 be used with a flybar. I am looking for a good stabilization system for my 600N Flybar, with the intent to go Flybarless later

=] hi, this won't work! can't mix the two, but why not go straight to a FBL head conversion?

Those videos made my mind up which FBL system I'm buying.
There is SO much electronic stuff released for sale with completely pathetic directions, full of assumptions, darn near 'code' speak.
Those videos are first rate, they sold me. Doug

Is there an advanced setup video out that goes through stuff like Hiller and Bell and Govenor Gain and how it all affects the wagging and bobbing ?
Thing is, I was very happy with my setup until I let a 3D pro fly the heli and he thought it flies like a 7 kilo Scaler
Which was fun at first means I am unable to save it or even the SL would not save it fast enough.
So maybe someone (hey Georgi ) could give us more technical and first hand experience how to setup a proper flickable Heli with the SK....
I guess people would love to see things explained more thoroughly..
