Please look at the pictures and tell me what you think.
I bought a YGE 120 HV used and it came this way. The instructions don't seem to mention anything about why or if the receiver lead should have the extension lead wired with the Orange to Brown and Brown to Orange. Red seems to go straight through the connector that has the shrink wrap on it. Do these come this way? Is it OK to plug it in to the receiver and use it this way, or is it just for programming? Does the ESC have to be hooked up to a motor to program it? I have a 700MX motor coming for the heli but don't have it yet and was wondering if I could go ahead and program the ESC before plugging it into a motor. How do I tell what version this ESC is? I don't see any markings of any sort to tell. Is there a site to tell what the different versions are or what the differences are?

Someone put on the extension backwards, I would just cut the heat shrink and take it off. I doubt you need the extra length.
The motor needs to be connected so you can hear the beeps during programming. |

OK,
Yes I forgot about the motor being the speaker so to speak. It was late and I was tired last night. Wonder why they put the lead on backwards.

There is a 23 on the capacitor. Take a look through this thread (http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=338396) for some more info
