I just upgrade my V2 to M5 motor. Very happy about it.
![]() Using stock tail, very stable not wagging. I am doing basic invert and flips, nothing too crazy yet. There are all other more powerful motors. So I want to know, what kind 3D moves require a motor more powerful than c05m. For example, with stock motor, tic tac is very hard because the motor bog too much. I crash my heli every time I try it. C05M seems able to handle tic tac fine. In terms of 3D maneuver, what is the limit of the C05M motor? I'd better upgrade to more powerful motor before I try those maneuver. Thanks |

You can pretty much do any maneuver, just not very fast. It seems like the tic toc is one of those moves that not only require the right stick inputs, but enough power to make it fast and clean.
If you are doing nice clean crisp tic tocs with the c05m, that's very impressive.

Most tricks will be limited by the tail performance not the main motor. I've yet to see an mcpx do a piro loop or piro tic toc.

One of the best C05m vids to date.
I think my thumbs are embarassed. They think they are ok at 3d! ![]() A C05 heli is a real nice "goto" heli. Very resilient, does most of what many of us will ever be capable of, is super light and tolerant of poor or less than stellar setup. Sure perfect setup is nice and my Hp08 heli requires it but it's nice to not have to worry as much. Crash, pfft, it'll fly fine again. Amp |

That is good to know the C05M is capable of most 3D maneuvers.
Pakk, my tic toc is very poor. I will shoot a video if I ever get that clean. DominicD, I am searching youtube piro loop and piro tic toc. Amp, thanks for the nice video, very impressive. ![]() |

piro mobius are a joke on the mcpx, way too much stabilization on that bird.

Left stick is heavy on rudder in one direction, collective is up and down, cyclic is stirring in the appropriate direction.

c05m half piro flips like a champ.
i was super surprised, this has been the best upgrade i've ever done to a heli. I do have a wicked shake here and there, i'm assuming it's the stock swash, i have a microheli swash coming tomorrow.

MH swash + 1/2 grommets makes a HUGE difference in how precise it flies with BL.
