The bearings came from RC Bearings so I suppose they are shielded.
Thanks

Is there a spacer that goes on the OS 50sx for the fan hub? The crank shaft sure does seem long..

I'd set the preset to number 4 and test fly. Both my 450 and 600 required total roll/pitch gain to be reduced from 40 to 25, and later I increased the swash PID I-gain from 80 to 95. I also increased the swash decel a bit for more poppin stops. |

I LOVE MY AR7200BX... After I changed the Head Lock Gain as KC suggested and fine tuned the swash my Raptor comes off the ground straight up. Everything is right now. No wag, wobble, windage, willies, just straight smooth flight. This saturday is suppose to be clear and 70 degrees out side... It's about time, I'm gonna load up my helicopters and go to the field for a all day event.. WOO HOOO!!! (got to get another gal of fuel)

I've only read that on forums Cruz, I have not read that anywhere on Thunder Tigers web site or OSs web site. As long as you dont over rev the engine I dont see any harm. I have worked on two cycle engines for a while and tested them with out a load and never had one to break a crank, or a ring or sling a rod If you DO over rev you stand a chance of slinging the rod or breaking it .. that would be a sad day... By the way I'm not saying do it .. use your own descrestion. By the way, again, a nitro engine will run backwards too...

all you need is enough weight to flywheel the engine to run it, it doesn't have to be loaded, but DO NOT over speed the RPM, and remove the clutch if you run it with the fan as your flywheel, you'll destroy the clutch and sling both shoes (usually right at yourself) when it spins up otherwise.

Oh yeah, Thanks KC, if you notice the crank shaft is not bear. It does have the fan and an old clutch that I broke the weights off for my flywheel.

I got the DS650 mounted on the tail and the DS620 on the throttle. I ordered parts to upgrade to a 50 they should all be here by Monday evening.
What is the difference between FBL and FB blades? Chord? Weight? etc..? I have a set of Mavrikk 600mm Patriot's on the way.

FBL blades are more neutrally balanced for better stability and less work for the servos and FBL system.
Here's a comparison I did of Mavrikk FBL and FB blades. You can see how the FBL blades are neutrally balanced compared to the FB set.

Tr look at the blades hanging... The FBL ones hang perfectly parallel. And the fb ones are not.. Look at the far end of the two blades. I am not putting on FBL blades yet. Aint got the money. Heehee.
But here's my birds. They all went FBL too!! Yaay!! ![]()
