Guess I need to send it in!!??

I was trying to set up my Total G after the winter break and me getting a new transmitter. and I noticed that the GYRO drift is in the 2k range!!! That is on a completely level surface. I even reset all the parameters still the same thing. Oh well. I hope they not take too long to get it back to me. I'm stationed oversea's and the weather is finally getting better

If you have a read in the detailed instructions, And have a look at the curtis videos on Youtube, It shows you how to recalibrate.

I think it is on this video, But if not you will need to watch the others .. It is in there somwhere !

Guess I should be more clear after reading my op. it's not the tail gyro but the gyros on the elev and ail. On the interface it's the bottom values were it shows for example T 0 G 0 well mine say
Ail Ctrl. T 0 G2626
Elve Ctrl T0 G 2296

Is there something im doing wrong.? Thanks for the help

Try resetting the parameters and boot load the firmware

Is this a new Total G?

Has it ever been crashed?

Does the G2626 start out at 0 when you initalize and ramp up, or does it always report the same thing?

If it starts out at 0 and ramps up to G2626, I would guess either the temp calibration is way off or the flight control gyros are defective. I've not seen anything like that....

You might try reloading the latest firmware and try again. If there is no change, I'd send it in....

It is not knew and it was flying great last season. I did however move to Germany. Maybe it got banged up in the trip???

No it doesnt start at 0 it goes straight to those values. I will try and reload the firmware to see if that can get it going

No joy...just reloaded the firmware and still getting a -560 and 2236

Are you initializing the system with flight control on? if not make sure it's on and then check the numbers.
