Go with the TT G4N. You can always convert it to electric. Stable and powerful machine.

Is it easy to convert it to electric ?
Because trex 600n is also capable of going electric . Are there any other benefits the g4 has over trex ? |

if your looking at a 600 size, the x50 is the way to go imo, it walks all over the trex. mine is fbl with the ys56, fast and smooth.......

I think the G4 kit contains all the parts for electric or nitro.
Then, it would just be engine & engine support stuff |

I would recommend the G4 with the OS or YS 55-60 size motor.
It flies great - just a little slower. |

The G4 kit contains airframe only, no electronics. Recomended nitro engine is 90+

The kit contains the airframe parts necessary to build either an electric power or nitro power version.
The "recommended" engine is a 91 - but people fly it with as small as .55 and as big as 1.20. I've seen it fly with an OS .55HZ-DRS and it flew great - just not as snappy. It also flew for 15 min per tank. After 3 months of getting better better & better at 3D flying, the guy changed to an OS 105 and was very happy. Cannot do that with a Trex 600n. |

the G4 is designed for a 90 size engine. The smallest engine I've seen in a G4 is a YS61 ST and the 3D school uses that motor in their machines. This engine had the same bolt pattern that 90 size engines have and can be mounted using the motor mount supplied in the G4 kit.
I've never seen a 55 size motor used in the G4. The bolt pattern on the motor is smaller than the motor mount supplied with the G4 kit.

If you're referring to my G4 it had a YS 61 ST-2 in it, not an OS 55HZ-DRS. You may have been thinking of my Synergy N5C which has the OS in it. At about 1800 rpm I was getting just under 20 minutes of flight time still with fuel left in the header tank. Only flew that long when alone. I would limit it to a little more than half tank when the rest of you guys were there. After 12 minutes I could hear grumbling from the other guys waiting their turn.
