My new velo 50 flybarless kit came with a clamp style hex starter and it will not tighten down on the shaft enough to turn the engine. I see in the manual it is pictured with a set screw which would solve the problem. Did I get the wrong one with my kit? Can not get through on outrage's website customer service. Please help! Thanks

I used to fix the Trex 700 starter bullet on my velocity 90. Am not sure but as far as i can remember the v90 & v50' starter bullets are interchangable. So the Align bullet should just work fine on your 50. As i said am not sure so just check for the diameter.
The clamping style is the old type never worked with me either but i remember that shaft and its bullet were revised and there is a better one in the market. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2

sounds like the wrong one. Check with the distributor.
