Can you believe the only damage was a stripped Ball that goes into the blade grip...No other damage!!!

Default Second flight with mods!

This is the second flight, after I rebuilt with the Lynx slant gear and 10t pinion on the stock motor and ESC. The BeastX unit has been moved to the top deck, after which I did a test hover, but no real flying. This is also running with MicroHeli carbon fiber blades designed for the Blade CP/SR, and the Lynx frame stiffener. I had such a rush, and was so thrilled with how it was performing I decided to try some things I really shouldn't have, leading to the conclusion. The first time I spooled it up today, it had a mean tail wag, which was eliminated quickly by reducing the Gyro gain from the factory recommended 77% to 65%. Tail locked in.

Damage report: Belly Flop. Head bolt snapped in three pieces. One of the carbon blades is compromised. Landing gear broke, and I stripped the left aileron servo. I had parts on hand to fix those, and got that taken care of last night. I have not checked the lower main shaft bolt, but it's still on the bench, that will get looked at before the next flight. Fortunately, no tail damage, but I'll have to reset my pitch.

This flight gave me great confidence in my setup skills, as I've never worked on a heli this size before, and it flew great! I had to rebuild following its Maiden flight crash. Can't wait to get back up in the air. Now that I've proven I know how to turn a screwdriver, my flight skills could use some practice.

All you should have to do is press and hold power button till led goes solid then press and hold record till you get 3 blinks then it is recording..

I can not replicate it on my keychain...
