Hey. awesome. CaptHal8HS this is Jeff. I was the one up at the field today with my wife Linda (the younger of the two females at the field, lol). In response to aviationfan, anyone can go up there. Only when someone from the club is there though. You can tell when someone from the club is there because the gate will be open. If the gate is swung closed no one is there. I am wondering if anyone will be there tomorrow as well. I am going to post on there facebook page and see. Hopefully I'll get a response. To CaptHal8HS, sorry, forgot your name already, real bad with names, but when you join see if you can get them more active on there facebook page. And set something up like a heli clinic for new pilots or something. And I'll see you at the field soon. My wife has a plane coming in the mail so going to be getting more into that soon as well. R/C is a blast. Talk to you guys soon.

No, I don't. I have a family emergency this morning but will actively participate in very soon. When I join the club, I'm going to try and get a key and coordinate additional openings of the field if possible.

Hey anyone still here??? I am looking to get together with some guys and fly..... Seems like the club isn't at the field all that often.....

I've been super busy these days. Haven't made it down to the field as often as I'd like. So I don't know how often guys have been going down or not.
I'm about to build a new 550E and will need help, so I'm sure ill be going more often to the field.
We need to form a Facebook group and guys need to checkin when they arrive at the field. That way we all get a feel for whose down at the field on a given day.

I'm aware of the FB page. It's not that active.
I'm away this weekend, so I won't be down. If its not too brutally cold out then 'yes' I plan on flying this winter.

Anyone interested in an indoor flying site for the winter? I know a guy who had a big warehouse (think it use to be an ice rink) in E. Setauket that said it would be cool, if I can get a group of guys, to use it over the winter...... Let me know, I would like to go a few times this winter, maybe every weekend..... but I need more pilots....
