I am looking for a logging solution for power in a electric setup. The specs show that the Eagle tree solution is limited to reading only up to 150A. Is this a hard set limitation? Or will it actually graph readings above this?

Looks like you can shunt half the current and have a 300A logger. I have not tested this myself.

Maybe a bit late- sorry mate- That ACS7xx sensor has something like a 100uOhm resistance, and its alloy is pretty carefully engineered (and the electronics, calibrated for it). A standard 12AWG insulated copper wire is just not going to look anything like it at 150A bursts. It might actually be smartest to just buy another of the same sensor and parallel them, vs using some other shunt with different properties (if you care about accuracy > 50%). They retail for $10 or so last I checked. Cheers mate-

Yeah, the Eagle Tree system doesn't seem that worthwhile. Modern heli power systems pull a lot more than 150A.

Quote:
you will not not connect your e-logger to the esc just to the battery for power and use this sensor to log your current
