Ive just built my new 700 nitro dfc and I want to use align metal horns but they simply do not fit on the servos. I have tried the disks on futaba metal gear servos I have and fit perfect so it is not the disks. They do go on the servos maybe halfway at a real push but will go no further.
Seems to me the new cyclic servos they have made an error with sizing of the spline. I should say plastic horns will fit although very tight. I need metal horns for a reason. Cheers |

These are the best arms to use (according to the Goblin guys) so I would assume they would work for you? Best for both strength and will break in a crash. I just ordered a set tonight for my upcoming Gob. They are some CF/plastic material.

Thanks for that, a quick search shows I'm not alone with this issue but I'll try quick uk tomorrow and see if theirs fit. If not I'll try those mikado ones.

little update incase anyone stumbles across this in future with torq servos.
the quk horns don't fit either. however i put the align discs i bought already in some oven cleaner to remove the anodizing and they now can be wiggled onto the splines. if you do this please google first the process. it is not rocket science but need to wear gloves and in open area. i left the discs in the solution for 4 mins and job done. HTH cheers |

The Align blue ones fit fine on my 600EFL and 700E DFC? Part number HSP61013, I ordered here "http://www.aligntrexstore.com/D6FF-Metal-Servo-Horn-HSP61013_p_827.html".
