Are there different Mode 1 and Mode 2 versions of the DS-16? According to espritmodel (http://www.espritmodel.com/jeti-dupl...try-radio.aspx), the mode can be changed between 1/2/3/4.
However, this page has two different models: http://www.puffinmodels.com/category.php?dept=202 - and it says " Do not attempt to change this from Mode 2 to Mode 1". |

I have no idea why Puffinmodels would say not to change it. I have seen the radio and seen how you change the modes. This radio unlike any other I've seen is built for a modeler to do what you want it to do. There are videos on youtube that shows how to change out the gimbals so you can mechanically change things quite easily.

So it can be switched using the same method as with the DC-16? The DC-16 manual explains how to do it, so clearly it can be done on DC-16. It would be nice to see the DS-16 manual. I don't think it's available anywhere. |

The dc-16 manual is also the ds-16 manual. So, I guess that instructions for changing the mode apply to both transmitters.
