What lipos are you running/planning to run? - Page 2

Hi, I consider the Thor 5500 45C batteries, but am a bit worried about the weight. They are 870 grams each ! I will only do mild sports flying, no 3D, so I though this battery might give me a benefit when it comes to fligt times ?

So what do you think, will they be too heavy or are they ok ?

Anyone tried the GensAce 5500 25C in a L700? Do you think it would be possible to get CG right?

About 40 cycles now on my revolectrix.

Still very happy with them. They are only warm after flight (its a hot summer here in Australia).

No sign of puffing, good balace even when all paralelled together at 2 o 3C.

I just bought a set of TP 65C for a compairison. They have only been cycled 3 times at the moment but their IR's are no lower than the Revo's.
