Preordered the DS-16

I also pre ordered - actually 2 DS-16. I was able to hold both at IRCHA as well as at the PSL funfly and felt better with the DS-16. Keep in mind the DC is a tray radio and comes initially with longer gimbals that can be changed but you would have to pinch in case you go with the DC version.

My decision point was - that I still can put the DS-16 in a tray and others who fly without tray still can fly my models if needed. Both feel good handling wise.

They had 25 initially.

I think I was the first order as it showed 24 after me. Another guy I know ordered one and when I checked again it was down to 21, and last I looked they had 17 left.

So it appears to be picking up momentum!

Nothing and then 8 in the last 2 days

I've got a local guy who flies jets with a JR 12X asking questions about one after I expressed a bit of enthusiasm about it in a emails.

It is kind of funny that my JR 11X will end up only being used on my flight simulator and 130X

I'll probably get a simstick eventually too.

I guess it is time to see what I can liquidate my DX8 for.

I pre-ordered from CircleCityHelis.com (lperagallo, moderator of this forum and Bergen buddy) a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully I'm in the mix of the first group somewhere.
