I have a Futaba 8FG which is about 2-1/2 yeards old. Over the past mont I had 2 heli crashes. After i lookes at the "Servo" screen I noticed that the 2nd channel (Right stick) was at -35 and was jumping between -30 and -50 and causing my elevator servo to move without any input.
At least I isolated my issues to the radio. Ipened up that back of the radio and blew air in it. Dont know what that was going to do but some guys said try it. After I did all of the servros on the screen and the heli were normal. I am not sure what it did but it seemd to work. Has anyone else heard of this and do you think it should go back to futaba for a check. Its working now without ant jitters ans is now a 0 an stable. The Pots are sealed so I cant clean them. Decisions, decisions.... |

Hi Steven Fox 950,
I had a similar issue with that on ch 4 or rudder stick, after a while dirt and build get into the "pots" and cleaning them periodically as regular maintenance as you did by blowing air into it helps. In my case I had to turn off the radio and vigorously cycle the stick for about 3 or more seconds and then turned on the radio and that cleaned out the debris causing my issue. Al
