What is AP and how is this thread different from the "Scale" thread?

AP stands for Aerial Photography. Nothing to do with Scale models.

Flybarless provides you with more power and efficiency, therefore popular with the AP boys.

kraaijer is absolutely correct.
I do video as well but insure if it should be called AV/AP as I have a video down link to "see" what the camera is looking at... So it's a combined setup...
