hi,
i'd like to buy a low cost futaba transmitter to be used as a slave on my 7c 2.4ghz. the 7c 2.4ghz manual says the student radio must have the PPM modulation. the new radio is going to be used by a student, for heli training flights only. i wonder if someone who is experienced in this area could suggest something. thanks.

You should be able to use any Futaba 4 channel or higher transmitter as long as it has the right trainer plug. I've used a 4VF Skysport as the slave with my 14MZ as the master with zero issues. You basically only need to have the slave tx act like a set of sticks since you will be using all the master tx's programming.
