Default video issue

I have a UHF tx/rx and i'm using a 900mhz video system with antenna tracker

if I stand to close (have to be at least 25-30 feet away) my video is messed up on the reception side

I understand the use of a low pass but should I have a filter on the vtx, or both video receivers(diversity)

or should I have a filter on the UHF transmitter

I just need to know which to order so I get it right the first time
