Looks like its the best of both worlds. A lot closer to the 600 in the tail but, has the snappiness of the 450 disk. With a bit of power thrown on top. Awsome and Cant wait !!

Whats an "auto"? Is that something you use to get your heli's to the field?

No no no! As explained in the Trex 600 forum, THIS is what you use to bring your heli(s) to the field.

And according to Wikipedia, "Auto is a sub-genre of dramatic literature. It has its origin in the Middle Ages, in Spain, by the 12th century. In Portugal, in the 16th century, Gil Vicente is the main author of this type of dramatic genre. Luís de Camões and Dom Francisco Manuel de Melo also adopted this form of writing."

So, perhaps when we say someone is doing an, "Auto," we are saying that they are doing a more dramatic and emotional massive 3dz routine. It's like hardcore massive 3dz, except with heated arguments, swords and overt weeping!

anyways - an auto or an auto-rotation is a maneuver that one uses to bring the heli back to ground safely without breaking it - especially when ur heli loses power in flight. Forced autos are those where the pilot, confident in his skills - uses the throttle cut switch on his Transmitter.

theoretically it involves
a) bringing your collective to negative
b) let the heli fall through the sky with the blades in negative pitch (they gather momentum due to the wind passing through)
c) at the final moment before touch down you increase collective there by giving it a flare or a small hover and
d) settle it on ground.

apparently, when you try autoing with a small forward cyclic, the heli kind of floats back to the ground.

as with anything else reg helis - this is easier said than done and is easier on larger helis than on smaller ones (larger ones are NOT EASY)
