Plenty of different models available at the above. Just have to choose one and then make adjustments to suit the model your setting up.

This is only true for US 14MZ owners since those are the only ones allowed to register.....

Hi there,

I tried to edit my picture files, converting them to bmp and so on but I cant figure out how to make them work on the 14mz?! Any ideas?

Does anyone have a way of reading the .mdl files so they can be printed for easy viewing for reference?
I saw one program on the web that claimed to do it, but shy about spending 200.00usd on it!
It's time consuming copying them onto a spreadsheet from viewing them on the TX.

Edit: there are plenty of "Freeware" viewers that turn out to be Shareware, but most are related to viewing 3d graphic files that the mdl format is also used for.

This is a great item you added for us but can you please provide something like this that has all the .bmp pictures of all the helicopters and airplanes on earth so I can change the picture of my models? I have not be able to find any way to save a picture as .bmp 168 x 80 pixels for use in my radio. Please let me know if you can.

Take a photo of your heli.

Open the jpeg in ms paint.
save as a bmp file.

Reduce the size of the image using stretch/skew until the images proportions are correct, check dimensions in windows explorer under the bmp's properties.

Upload to your tx's memory card in the bmp folder.

Assign the photo to the model.


If all else fails post a photo of your heli in jog format and I will convert it for you.
