It's Nov 1, 2054.

I drive the latest Lexus magnetic levitation car. What an awesome ride!

My virtual girlfriend this week is a Brazilian supermodel. God she's hot!

This weekend I'm looking forward to flying my new Goblin plasma charged hypersonic jet-copter.

So I was wondering, is the Avant Mostro released yet? Any pictures yet?

Come on guys – Read between the lines. It doesn’t take a Sherlock Holmes to deduce that they are much further from releasing the Mostro than they would like you to believe.

With all the excuses they have come up with, they have backed themselves into a corner. I mean how long can it possibly take to build a kit?

Since they have made their bed, so to speak, they will have to continue coming up with excuses. So you will see a few more excuses before anything real is available.

If they really have any prototypes, they would make their customers happy by simply taking some pictures and some videos. How hard can that possibly be???

I think the fact that they don't have any pictures speaks volumes on where they are with the release.

I submit to you that full prototypes must not exist if they are not supporting their customers with pictures or videos that have been requested. You can not take pictures of something that does not exist.

I also submit to you that hundreds and hundreds of hours of testing should be performed on the production unit to wring it out, make sure there aren’t any surprises, and verify that it is indeed ready for release. This is what a reputable company would do. So if they are only now building the one and only, single production unit, then it will take a significant amount of time to complete the necessary testing.

This of course means that full scale production, and the release to the public, is far down the road.

And then who’s to say that they will not find any other issues with the helicopter? If this is the first time all of the production parts have been assembled into one unit, there might be some surprises that pop up, further prolonging the release to the public.

There is no such thing as perfect out of the box. The best a company can do is release a quality product, and then improve it through process improvement.

This is what has been done by the Japanese car manufacturers for many years, and through process improvement, they have improved the reliability and quality of their products significantly.

I look forward to the next excuse.

Been saying that for a few weeks now. Glad I am not the only one that realizes this.

It has been exactly one month since I submitted the above post, and still no videos! Inconceivable!

Pictures of one Mostro - yes.

Videos of flying - no.

Apparently from reading the posts on this forum, even the Avant pilots still do not have a Mostro to fly and test.

So I was 100% correct in my statement above.

But the writing was on the wall. You just had to read it.
